It’s nice Nintendo is putting a full story mode into Super Mario Maker 2, but I just can’t muster the enthusiasm overall. User-generated content doesn’t excite me. Plus, you need a Nintendo Switch Online account to upload your own levels, or play any levels from other players, which I don’t have yet.

I can see myself picking it up at a $20 discount if Nintendo does a Player’s Choice line for the Switch, but I can’t see myself doing it for $60. Maybe Nintendo will release a demo and convince me otherwise.
