After the cold-blooded manner in which the Thunder were eliminated from the playoffs by Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers, and after having three future Hall of Fame players in Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden, with exactly zero championships to show for it, there’s talk the Oklahoma City Thunder might be cursed.

The reason being the Thunder fan base has been reaping the benefits of a city that had their NBA team taken/stolen from them. That would be Seattle and their beloved SuperSonics before they were unceremoniously moved to Oklahoma City and renamed the Thunder.

Anyone who thinks Seattle is not a basketball town was not paying attention to the NBA during the ‘90s.

Damian Lillard dedicated his game-winner against the Thunder to Seattle. Sonics fans everywhere very much appreciate it.
