Under normal circumstances, I would be giddy about this. But given Blizzard’s behavior recently, it puts a damper on any excitement I have. And that’s assuming this rumor is even true. But Blizzard needs to do something about the horrific PR they’ve brought on themselves recently. Announcing Diablo 4 and a remaster of Diablo 2 could be a way to make nice with fans.
Of course, the best way to make nice with fans would be to apologize for their punishment of Ng Wai Chung and the two casters who interviewed him, and lift his Hearthstone ban. I hope Blizzard gets that message loud and clear at BlizzCon.
