I didn’t care who won the Super Bowl, but the awful pre-game show was making me want both teams to lose.

The game was boring, the halftime show was boring, and the pregame show and commercials were sanctimonious and preachy. The whole tone of the Super Bowl pregame show and the commercials had the feel of indoctrination – like I was being preached at with some sort of secular social-justice religion, especially the Bruce Springsteen commercial. Somehow, Springsteen has convinced his millions of fans that he’s an everyday, blue-collar Joe. In reality, he hasn’t worked a day in his life – and good for him, he’s a great artist and deserves all his money and success, but I don’t want a social-justice sermon from him. Go back to your mansion, Boss, and let me watch the football game.

As for the game itself, Tom Brady was the GOAT going into the game, and he was still the GOAT after the game. Brady has now won seven Super Bowls and has a Super Bowl championship in three different decades. That’s pretty unbelievable. He’s obviously doing something right. At least we won’t have to listen to six months of the sports media saying Patrick Mahomes is the Michael Jordan of the NFL.

I’m ready for free agency and the draft already. Now that this season is over, let the Seahawks dynasty begin.
