I’m not going to judge Will Smith for slapping Chris Rock, but he obviously needs help. Chris Rock took it as well as you could take something like that.

Will Smith got out of his seat and assaulted a presenter during the most prestigious awards show on the planet, and nothing happened to him. The show went on like nothing happened.

How was he not immediately arrested? The show wasn’t even temporarily suspended. Everything about this was strange, including how it was handled. This is unprecedented for live television, and Will Smith may have just ended his career on what was supposed to be his biggest night.

Then his acceptance speech was bizarre. Some said it was an apology. It looked to me like a man torn up inside, and not because he just smacked Chris Rock in the face on live television in front of millions of people. Will Smith needs help. He needs therapy before he snaps. He’s not right.
