The country of Iran has had enough. They’re tired of all the pro-America propaganda in the Call of Duty games, and they’ve decided to do something about it. They’re getting revenge – literally – in a game they’re making themselves called Revenge. It’s going to be a Call of Duty competitor made by an animation studio, Kosar3D, in which you fight against the American infidels and Zionists in pre-emptive strikes to prevent their attacks against Iran and Russia from being carried out.

Not surprisingly, the trailer has no gameplay at all. It just has what looks like digital backdrops where their game is going to take place.

This game is interesting for two reasons: one, game studios from countries that aren’t in America, Europe, or Asia are intriguing. Two, I’m curious to see what a story in a game like this would entail, and what propaganda from the other side looks like. Unlike Iran, the United States champions free speech, so let’s see what Iran has to say in the video game space.

Ironically, Revenge will be using Epic’s Unreal engine. Iran doesn’t like the west, but have no problem paying them to make their game, and “by God’s permission, will make a lot of money”.

I doubt Activision is shaking in their boots at this announcement, but I welcome Revenge on Steam and other digital platforms whenever it’s ready to be released.
