If you’ve played Tetris before and understand how difficult it gets, this is fascinating to watch. What this kid did is unbelievable. Thirteen-year old Willis Gibson progressed so far into Tetris on the NES that the game froze. He essentially beat the game, which had never been done before. At the end, he says several times that he couldn’t feel his fingers, so it sounds like he was using a standard NES controller, or something similar, as opposed to the special controllers other Tetris players use. His parents should be incredibly proud. Their son made history.
Here is the full video of his history-making Tetris run. If you want to see the moment it happens, just watch the last five minutes.
