Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is getting solid reviews, has a new playable demo available, and all versions of the game seem to run very well. It’s made by Ubisoft Montpellier, the same team that made Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends. Digital Foundry did a deep dive into The Lost Crown and loved what they saw:
- Runs on the Unity engine.
- PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions run at 4K/120 FPS. The PS5 version framerate is less stable, but depending on what type of TV display you have, you may not notice it.
- Xbox Series S runs at 1440p/60 FPS.
- PlayStation 4 Pro version runs at just below 4K/60 FPS, but with longer loading times. Also, cutscenes run at 30 FPS.
- Switch version runs at 1080p/60 FPS in docked mode and 720p/60 FPS in portable mode. Cutscenes run at 30 FPS.
- The PC version runs well with no issues.
Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown releases on all platforms on January 15th.
