Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness along with its Beyond the Dark Portal expansion, and the original Diablo with its Hellfire expansion are now all available to buy on Battle.net. Previously, they were only available on GOG.

Warcraft: Orcs & Humans originally released in 1994 and is the original Warcraft game, and although it’s very archaic and dated by today’s RTS standards, it’s still a fun time to see the origins of the series and one of the first games in the genre.

Warcraft II originally released in 1995, is much more playable, and is still a great game, even if it eventually got overshadowed by StarCraft (1998) and Warcraft III (2002).

The original Diablo originally released in 1997. It’s basically a tech demo compared to Diablo II (2000) that came just a few years later, but still a surprisingly fun game.

All these are reasons why Blizzard became such a beloved PC developer in the ‘90s. If you weren’t playing PC games back then and are curious about what classic Blizzard was like, or just want to revisit a few of the most influential PC games of all time, these are great titles to go back to.
