This Final Fantasy VII reimagining that Square-Enix is doing might end up being the greatest remake of a video game ever. Metroid Prime Remastered was pretty spectacular, but the epic scale and fidelity of what Square-Enix is doing to Final Fantasy VII is hard to compete with. They released a 20-minute long video with a new trailer and tons of new gameplay for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth during a State of Play this week. Plus, they announced a new playable demo.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is releasing exclusively on PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024.
