UPDATE: Developer Evil Empire has announced that The Rogue Prince of Persia will now launch on May 27th…unless Hollow Knight: Silksong launches before then at which point they will cancel the game completely.

ORIGINAL STORY: Hades II has been in Early Access the last few days, and already has about 21,000 Steam user reviews, with a ‘Very Positive’ overall user rating. So it’s doing quite well and is very popular. So much so that Ubisoft has decided to delay its upcoming The Rogue Prince of Persia roguelike to later this month to give Hades II the breathing room it needs.

The Rogue Prince of Persia team admits they’re all playing Hades II as well, and it would probably be unwise to release their game now while everyone is buzzing over Supergiant’s sequel. A new release date hasn’t been specified yet, but The Rogue Prince of Persia team has stated it will be later in May.
