During the recent Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced four more games playable for Nintendo Switch Online: Perfect Dark and Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, both originally released for the Nintendo 64, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past And Four Swords and Metroid: Zero Mission, both originally released for Game Boy Advance.
A remastered Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is already available to buy for the Switch, but if you just want to mess around with the game without buying it, now you can. It was one of the first FPS games for the Nintendo 64 and helped establish the FPS genre on consoles at a time when they were almost exclusive to PC.
In Perfect Dark, you play as secret agent and spy Joanna Dark in a futuristic Bladerunner-esque world in what is the spiritual sequel to GoldenEye 007. It’s considered one of the best first-person shooters of its generation, although there are some reported minor emulation issues with the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past Four Swords is the Game Boy Advance port of the The Legend of Zelda: A Link To the Past, originally released for the Super Nintendo. The Four Swords mode is a multiplayer mode that lets you play randomized dungeons with other people.
Finally, Metroid: Zero Mission is the Game Boy Advance remake/reimagining of the original NES Metroid, and is considered one of the best games in the Metroid series, and one of the best 2D action-platformers of all time.
