Nintendo continues to add to the Nintendo Switch Online classic game library. Seven more Nintendo Entertainment System games were announced for the service:

  • Mach Rider
  • Donkey Kong Jr. Math
  • Cobra Triangle
  • Solar Jetman: Hunt for the Golden Warpship
  • Urban Champion
  • The Mystery of Atlantis
  • Golf

Golf was one of the first games, if not the very first game, that Nintendo’s late president, Satoru Iwata, worked on for Nintendo. Golf was one of the early, first-generation ‘black box’ NES games that were more basic than games that came later in the console’s life. This July 11th will be the ninth anniversary of Mr. Iwata’s passing, and it’s likely not a coincidence that Nintendo chose this month to release the game for the service.
