Square-Enix has released a 30-minute gameplay demo of Dragon Quest III 2D-HD. It’s all in Japanese, but the demo shows off dialogue, exploration, combat, visuals, and a fully orchestrated soundtrack. This is chronologically the first game in what Square-Enix is calling ‘the Erdrick trilogy’, which also features the original Dragon Quest and Dragon Quest II, which will also be getting the 2D-HD treatment in 2025.
Dragon Quest III 2D-HD Remake releases for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 14, 2024. Check out the demo below:
