Hello Games released a deep dive video on their massive update for No Man’s Sky, called No Man’s Sky Worlds Part I. It doesn’t go into excruciating detail, but touches on all the changes coming to the eight year-old game: improved visuals, upgrades in the flora and fauna, new gameplay, the ability to land your ships on water, dynamic wind and water patterns, new creatures, and more. It’s being powered by the tech developer Hello Games is using for their other open-world, procedurally-generated game Light No Fire, which was announced at The Game Awards in 2023.
