Phantom Blade Zero’s combat was on display at Gamescon 2024 and it still looks impressive. As far as I can tell, this is the same demo that developer S-GAME brought to Summer Game Fest, with a lot of the same enemies and boss fights, but you can see the different ways of fighting them depending on the player. We haven’t seen much of the game outside of this demo, but there’s a lot of rain and mud present in everything that’s been shown. Hopefully, the full game has other locales that provide some visual variety.
