Developer S-GAME showed off more gameplay for Phantom Blade Zero. Celebrating the Year of the Snake, Soul is wielding twin snake blades in a boss fight that almost looks ritualistic. It’s very fast, very fluid, and very impressive.

Everything that has been shown of Phantom Blade Zero has been superb so far. I also couldn’t help but wonder why we’ve never gotten a Star Wars game like this. Why has the Star Wars license not been given to an Asian developer who understands action gameplay the way S-GAME obviously does?

Phantom Blade Zero is set to release for PlayStation 5 and PC sometime in 2025. Check out the Year of the Snake gameplay trailer below:
