Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition draws closer to release and Nintendo has released a new story teaser trailer. It’s basically the opening backstory to the events that unfold in the game to get us primed for what awaits.
Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition was originally released on the Wii U in 2015. The new Definitive Edition for Switch is a remaster with improved visuals, quality-of-life improvements, and extra content. Even though it bears the Xenoblade name, Xenoblade Chronicles X is not related to the other games in the series. It’s essentially a spin-off.
Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition releases for Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2025. Check out the new story trailer below:
Rebuild humanity on the mysterious planet Mira
The year is 2054. Earth has been destroyed by an intergalactic war between two alien races, and humanity is on the brink of annihilation. A small number of survivors, aboard the USS White Whale, crash land on the vast and untamed planet Mira.

The visually enhanced edition of this open-world RPG contains newly added story elements and more.
