It’s been a while since we’ve heard or seen anything about Death Stranding 2, but Kojima Productions has finally given us not just a nice, long cinematic trailer (with some gameplay), but a release date as well.
Also, a familiar face from another Hideo Kojima series is shown during this trailer (check at 8:40). It’s not known whether this is just a nod, or is hinting at something bigger on the horizon for the future. Otherwise, I imagine it might be raising some eyebrows at Konami.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be releasing for PlayStation 5 on June 26, 2025 with pre-orders starting on March 17th. Check out the cinematic release date trailer below:
