If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to take the platform-fighting in Super Smash Bros. and make a full action-adventure game out of it, you might want to take a look at Spiritfall. It’s made by indie developer Gentle Giant and incorporates a hand-drawn art style with platform-fighting combat and roguelike elements. It’s well-reviewed and was a finalist for Best Gameplay award at Gamescom Latam. It’s been on Steam since last year, but is now coming to consoles.

Spiritfall is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Check out the launch trailer below:

A Platform Fighter Roguelike

Spiritfall combines tight Platform Fighter combat, smooth movement, and Roguelite mechanics into one! Trek across dangerous lands, string together deadly combos to fend off swarms of enemies, and harness an ever-changing set of powers through a randomly generated map.
