If you liked Dino Crisis in the late ‘90s, Code Violet is going to be a game to keep an eye on. Made by TeamKill Media, the new release date trailer is a contrast of what looks like fantasy backdrops coupled with shots of the main protagonist, Violet Sinclair, firing lots of bullets at dinosaurs, including what looks like a T-Rex and velociraptors. Violet Sinclair has been stolen from her time and brought into the 25th century to be a surrogate to help save mankind after a cataclysm of some sort has occurred. Why she’s fighting dinosaurs…well, I guess we’ll find out.

TeamKill Media also has officially stated on X that they will not be bringing the game to PC because they don’t want the modding community making any alterations to the characters they deem to be vulgar or inappropriate. That’s unfortunate, but Dino Crisis fans are likely to be all over Code Violet, and if the game sells well enough on PS5, it might motivate them to change their mind.
