The OCTOPATH TRAVELER series, and the Bravely Default series before it, are all about the legacy J-RPG experience: turn-based battles, 2D pixel graphics, and long, epic adventures with your party. Square-Enix announced the next installment called OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0 during the recent Nintendo Direct. It will carry over many of the hallmarks of the first two games, as well as not only revitalizing other towns, but revitalizing and building your own hometown. Also, it will have a custom character-creator for the first time. Plus, you can have up to eight party members from your choice of 30 different characters. That’s a lot of firepower for any monsters or enemies to deal with.
