Retrace The Light takes place in the year 3323 when AI has evolved to the point that it can collaborate with humans to repair the human psyche. You play as Enforcer Decem who navigates what are called MirrorMazes, which are manifestations of human minds. Unfortunately, Decem is injured during one his MirrorMaze excursions, he’s left bereft of his memories and abilities, and he must recover them. The gameplay revolves around his ‘Retrace’ ability that allows him to teleport wherever he’s previously been. It allows him to move all over the place to solve puzzles and outmanuever enemies in battle. A variety of skills and traits allow for different character builds, plus there are multiple ending depending on your decisions.
