During the recent Sony State of Play, Koei-Tecmo announced DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered, a complete remake of the PlayStation 2 game using Unreal Engine 5 that includes all the content from the Xtreme Legends expansion.

DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 and DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Xtreme Legends were the first two “modern” games in the DYNASTY WARRIORS series. They released back in 2001, but they introduced many of the gameplay elements that became mainstays, such as two player co-op and True Musuo Attacks.

DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered will be releasing for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, and PC on March 19, 2026. Check out the announcement trailer below:

A striking modern revival of “DYNASTY WARRIORS 3” and “DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Xtreme Legends,” which established the foundation of the entire series. The complete cast of more than 40 officers and numerous battlefields will be beautifully recreated using Unreal Engine 5.
