Crisol: Theater of Idols is a survival-horror game that takes place in a nightmarish version of Spain called Hispania, on the island of Tormentosa. The main mechanic of the game is using blood. You play as Gabriel, an emmisary from the Sun God on a divine mission, who uses blood to maintain his own life, but also as ammunition, and to solve puzzles. Shooting and reloading drains his life, which makes for risk/reward style gameplay. Upgrading the blood improves Gabriel’s survivability and also makes him more lethal in combat.
