Nintendo capped their most recent Nintendo Direct with a trailer for the next game in the Fire Emblem series, called Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. This will be the follow-up to Fire Emblem: Engage, which released for Switch in 2023. From the footage, it will be heavily story-driven and continue the series’ long tradition of turn-based tactical combat. Judging by the serious tone of what’s in the trailer, it doesn’t sound like there will be a lot of tea parties being thrown, but you never know. Nintendo and Intelligent Systems like to surprise us.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave releases for Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2026. Check out the announcement trailer below:
Love Fire Emblem. Unfortunately, I only have a Wii, so my options are limited.

I would say get yourself a Switch if you can, but Nintendo just raised the price of the console unfortunately. 😦

Yes and even if I do get a Switch, then i would have to buy the game. At this moment I can’t get a Switch, but i do intend to buy one in the future.
