After more than 25 years since its original release, Diablo II is getting new content. Blizzard announced the Warlock class for Diablo II: Resurrected, the official eighth class of the game, with 30 new items, plus new armor sets.
New quality-of-life features will also be included in this update, including new stash tabs, the ability to stack all items in the game, including gems, and new loot filters. That means no more mule characters and no more having to use third-party tools for filtering your loot. Also, an in-game account-wide chronicle will track every item you’ve attained in the game for completionists.
Lastly, Diablo II: Resurrected is available for purchase on Steam for the first time.
The Reign of the Warlock DLC for Diablo II: Resurrected is out now. Check out the launch trailer below:

Nice! I should replay the first 2 Diablo games. I haven’t played those in years, and maybe this will give me an excuse to.

One thing I didn’t put in the article because I was unaware at the time is the new DLC costs $25, which is pretty steep for one class and some QOL features. The whole game itself with the DLC is only $40.
