End of Abyss is a sci-fi horror game from Section 9 Interactive, a new studio made up of developers who worked on the well-received Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares II. The trailer starts off with a mysterious message: ‘To the one who hears this message, we are waiting for you’, with several shots of dark, creepy corridors in an installation or ship of some sort. Grotesque biological and mechanical monsters make an appearance, with the protagonist shooting at them from a more isometric viewpoint, set to tense music. It ends with a giant set of double-doors opening with a bright light shining through, followed by another message: ‘In time, you will find us.’
Interesting. Given the pedigree of the developers, End of Abyss could be one to keep an eye on.
