DOOM: The Dark Ages released in 2025 and was generally well-received as the third entry in Id Software’s DOOM revival that started in 2016. DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations is the expansion DLC that Id’s Hugo Martin promises has tons of new abilities and counters, and will satisfy high-level action-game players. It blends the gameplay of Dark Ages with the movement of DOOM Eternal and gives Doom Slayer the new Chain Spear to eviscerate the minions of Hell with in a variety of ways. Also included are new puzzles and new enemies as Doom Slayer fights his way out of his own personal purgatory to freedom.
