Star Wars games cross over into a lot of different genres, but one we haven’t seen a lot from the series is the tactics genre. Developer Bit Reactor is looking to change that and bring X-COM’s dynamic turn-based systems and mechanics into the Star Wars universe with STAR WARS Zero Company. Customize your party, characters, and loadouts through a story campaign set during The Clone Wars. Choose from a variety of squadmates ranging from astromech droids to Jedi with character story-arcs for each one. Build relationships between them for synergies that enhance the combat abilities of your team.

User reviews are reporting some instability with crashes and some need for overall difficulty balancing, but nothing that can’t be fixed with a patch or two. It’s looking like a solid offering for those looking for a good strategy and/or Star Wars game.
